New starters join Star Employment
Leading recruitment agency Star Employment Services has expanded its team even more after taking on three new recruits.
The Wolverhampton based agency welcomed former Express & Star sales advisor George Inman to its ever growing team at the end of last month with James Bacon who previously worked at the Health Lottery.
The agency also welcomed resource administrator apprentice Ellie Taylor, who joined the team in October after leaving school following a year studying for her A Levels. Ellie is one of two apprentices taken on by Star Employment as an investment in young people training within the local area.
She said: “I was attracted to Star Employment Services as it is a growing business, where I can actually speak to applicants directly and can interact with the applicants whether it be carrying out face to face or telephone interviewing. I feel that as Star Employment is owned by the MNA, which publishes the Express & Star and Shropshire Star they are different and can offer different opportunities for me to carve a career.”
Star Employment now has a team of nine following its successful year, which saw the agency open its second branch in Cannock.
George, who will be based at the Queen Street office said: “I am really excited to be a part of Star Employment Services. The whole team has been great helping me in that transition from advertising to recruitment.
“It feels great being part of something that really seems to be getting bigger with every passing month.”
James added: “I have been in sales for over 15 years now and I joined Star Employment after working for The Health Lottery for over two years. “I was attracted to work for the MNA as I was already aware of its strong reputation throughout the Midlands – and being a Wolves fan.”
