Open Day For Skilled Workers | June 22nd, Wolverhampton City Centre.


SKILLED WORKERS ARE INVITED TO AN OPEN DAY AT STAR EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, THURS 22ND JUNE IN WOLVERHAMPTON

Star Employment Services are holding an informal open day for skilled works at their offices in Wolverhampton City Centre, Thursday 22nd June from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. The open day will be an opportunity for skilled workers to register their details with the specialist recruitment agency for current and future job vacancies.

Lucy Cashmore Operations Director at Star Employment Services says:

“We work closely with a number of specialist organisations who are looking for skilled works to fill vacant positions. The hunt really is on to find the best candidates for these roles. We always have a steady flow of vacancies for skilled jobs, so we’d like to invite skilled workers to our offices for an informal meeting where they can register their details for current and future vacancies”

What will happen on the day?

The Open Day will be pretty informal, don’t worry it’s not a job interview! Our offices will be open to you from 4.30pm, where you can come and chat to a member of our team. We’ll ask you a little bit about yourself so we can register your details and get a better idea of what work you’re looking for. Our team specialise in matching the right candidate with the right job, so once we’ve got your details on file we’ll keep you posted of any vacancies that we think might be of interest to you.

We recommend that you complete an application form before you arrive on the day to save time, so that on the open day we can focus on you and potential job opportunities for you.

How do I sign up?

To sign up to the Star Employment Open Day just enter your details here. The Open Day will be from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. You’ll be able to choose from three, one hour slots: 4.30 – 5.30pm, 5.30 – 6.30pm and 6.30 – 7.30pm.



What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Star Employment Services office is located right next to the Express & Star building in Wolverhampton city centre. There are great transport links near our office whether you're going by train, metro or bus. If you are driving, we have free parking available in the Express & Star car park just round the corner. All you need to do is let us know when you book your tickets that you'd like to reserve a parking space.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you don't need to bring the a printed ticket to the event. We'll have a list of the people attending. You might want to bring along a completed application form to the open day. This way you can get the more benefit out of the open day, and spend time with our team rather than just filling out paperwork! Get a copy of the application form here.

Is there anything else I need to bring on the day?

You aren't required to bring anything along with you, but we can't start putting you forward for jobs until you complete your registration. So, it may be easier for you to bring as much with you as possible to the open day, including:

  • A passport or a full British birth certificate*
  • Proof of National Insurance Number, such as a p45, p60 or NI Card
  • Bank Details
  • Proof of Current Address.
  • Proof of Qualification relevant to the work you seek (Such as FLT Licenses, Exam Result Certificates).
*If you are only able to supply a Birth Certificate, you must accompany this with photo identification. If you are unsure what to supply, please contact a member of the team prior to registration.
